The Beatles

Although credited to Lennon/McCartney, this song was written by John Lennon. He wrote it in the late ’60s and it appears on the band’s 1970 album Let It Be. Like many of The Beatles’ song, it has stood the test of time and become a classic.

All My Loving was written by Paul McCartney and credited to both him and John Lennon. It was written in the early sixties and appears on The Beatles second album With the Beatles, released in 1963.

The Beatles

Paul McCartney wrote Blackbird in 1968 and the song appears on the White Album. This arrangement is really fun to play, quite tricky at times but feels great once you’ve learnt it.

Although credited Lennon/McCartney it was John that wrote this beautiful song. With Billy Preston’s fills in-between Lennon’s vocals and George’s perfectly crafted lines during the bridge, this is one of the band’s best and most powerful songs.

Although credited to Lennon/McCartney, Eleanor Rigby was actually written by Paul and the song appears on The Beatles’ iconic 1966 album Revolver. This arrangement is perfect for the advancing beginner to learn.
