Jingle Bells is probably the best-known Christmas song ever written. It was originally composed by James Lord Pierpont in 1857 and was first published under the name ‘One Horse Open Sleigh’.

This arrangement of Jingle Bells is targeted at players of an intermediate-advanced level and at time is quite tricky. It’s a great arrangement to learn if you want to work on alternating the bass.

Verse

Bear in mind that if certain areas of the arrangement are too hard for you, you can always simplify it. For example, you don’t have to alternate the bass quite so much and if you find the C+ chord in bar three really awkward, just take it out.
