In this lesson we’re going to learn how to play a fingerstyle arrangement of Homeward Bound.
Homeward Bound is by American folk duo Simon & Garfunkel and was written by Paul Simon. The song was released on 19th January 1966 and peaked at no. 5 on the U.S Billboard Hot 100. It appears on their album Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme (1966).
This arrangement is a whole lot of fun to play and I’d say it’s best suited to the intermediate fingerpicker and above. However, if you’re an advancing beginner then please don’t be put off.
