Otis Redding and Steve Cropper wrote this classic song and recorded it in 1967 only a few days before Redding’s death in a plane crash. The song went on to reach the number 1 spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 and to this day is one of Redding’s best-known and loved song.
This arrangement is great fun to play but a little tricky at times. I’d say that it’s best suited to the intermediate and above player.
